To mark the occasion, we’ve teamed up with Malaysian macramé artist Charmaine Kamal to deck out the Shack with a one-of-a-kind installation. Her work weaves
together movement, memory, and Malaysian soul, featuring floral motifs inspired by
traditional batik, often worn by Malay and Chinese Nyonyas. Saree fabrics, rich in
color and history, are upcycled into yarn and woven into the design to honor the
Indian community.
